found the problem. On the Gain Capital site, they offer the following in the Sierra Chart install configuration. GETTING STARTED Go to the Software Download page and follow the instructions to download Sierra Chart. NOTE: Version 2416 or earlier must be used. Newer versions do not support trading capabilities, due to a decision made by Sierra Chart. Sierra Change Log: 2417 Release Date: 2022-07-20 Removed support for the Gain Capital trading service. You can continue to use Gain Capital in older versions. If you have a newer version installed, go to Help > Install Previous Version Then, choose the option “Specific Version” and enter version number 2416. I was able to install the older version and everything is fine now. HOWEVER, I wish I know how to receive latest version and still use Gain Capital as the broker. Please help me understand that. |
