I figured out the problem. Posting hoping it might help anyone who might be experiencing something similar. If you copy an instance of sierra chart, the new instance will use the old chartbook file location, even if the data file is set to look at the new location, it will use the old location for the chartbook. I dont know why. the solution is- after copying an instance of sierra chart, when you open it for the first time, open your chartbook and File>Save As something new. thats all, fixed and no more crashes. |
