This should never occur. Each instance is completely separate and does not know anything about any of the other instances. This is true for Sub-Instances as well. We really do not know what might have occurred. We do wonder if there may have been a problem with the shortcuts you are using, and perhaps it wasn't the instance you thought. But it sounds like it is not something we can figure out at this time. The other thing we want to point out is that you can go to the backups of your chartbooks in order to recover them, rather than recreating them.
