A date marker is easy when there is only one date, but most tools have several anchor points. Easy to see why this ticket got left unanswered. It doesn't give a good user story/solution. Let me try. What would be nice is if we can add to the Anchors tab on all tools a "show time" option next to each Date/Time anchor. The show time would then be a drop down with these options: 1. None 2. Top-Left 3. Top-Center 4. Top-Right 5. Center-Left 6. Center-Center 7. Center-Right 8. Bottom-Left 9. Bottom-Center 10. Bottom-Right Then a second menu (or checkboxes as we have seen in other SierraChart objects) for what to display: - Date - Time - Date and time This method would work for Forks, Lines, Extended Rectangles, OHLC, Ellipse, etc. Every tool can have a menu added to the Anchors tab and eventually, we will be able to show the dates and/or times at every anchor point of any object. Eventually, it would be nice if the text objects could be positioned a bit like the risk/reward tool where we can grab the text and move it left/right/up/down and position it as we wish after it's drawn. |
