You changed something in the setup for the DTC Server in either the Main Instance or the Sub-Instance, or perhaps both. Such that the sub-instance is not able to connect to the main instance. In particular, the port that the sub-instance is trying to connect to is not the default port, which is why we know something got changed.

Please set everything back to the default by setting the following:

In the Main Instance:
- Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> DTC Protocol Server >> Listening Port: 11098
- Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> DTC Protocol Server >> Historical Data Port: 11099

In the Sub-Instance:
- Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Server Port: 11098
- Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Historical Data Server Port: 11099

Then exit from all instances of Sierra Chart (including Main Instance) and start Sierra Chart again. Your sub-instance should connect correctly in this case.
