User584084, i'm just a standard free user on that site. the thing is, Sierra Chart doesn't even need to have such an extensive service such as this. they would only need to provide maybe 20-30 data points for the core eight economies (240 total data points) and that would be sufficient for me and probably 90% of traders. all of that data is open and free to the public and all they would have to do is basically collate those 30 or so data points and provide them directly in SC. i mentioned tradingeconomics.com because it is a vast and expansive service with an already working API, but yeah, that price is unreasonable because we only really truly need data from the top eight for most futures, CFD or forex trading activity. additional countries can be added as demand arises for them. it's just an idea -- writing this, i see how this doesn't necessarily fit into SC's business model as it doesn't really enhance their main service...it'd just be a pesky addition. happy trading to you. |
