Please try to open the sub-instance in "Safe Mode". Refer to the following for how to do this:

If Sierra Chart start correctly, then open your Chartbooks, one by one. If one of them fails, then there is a problem with the chartbook and it will have to be re-created.

Otherwise, if the Chartbooks all load fine, then this would imply that you have a custom study that is causing an issue. You would have to then restart the instance without Safe Mode, but do not open files automatically, and then open each chartbook to find the particular chartbook that has an issue and you may need to open it in Safe Mode and remove the study that is causing an issue.
