To start - the CME Group does have a requirement that you have a live, funded futures trading account in order to qualify for the non-professional exchange fees. And you need to be able to connect to that account at least once a month (if you are not staying connected at all times) in order to verify your non-professional standing each month. And once you have the AMP account setup, you can use that account.
