When you open a Trading DOM it will always be in the default format. In order to keep a Trading DOM with the customizations you want, you need to keep the Trading DOM open when you save the Chartbook and not close it. Then when you open the Chartbook the customized Trading DOM will be there. If you then want to use that Trading DOM for another symbol, duplicate the Trading DOM and change the symbol.
