From your description of losing your data, it sounds like you may have had to load an older chartbook, which is why we suggested trying the process defined for opening a chartbook that states it is not compatible.

If you have recently opened that file and it worked, then there should be a backup on your system. Try opening one of the backups. Refer to the following:
