OK. this is working, but what I'm looking to do is have the EMA colored when the market is above the EMA, and a different color when it's below. It appears that this function colors then entire EMA, when I want the color vary depending on where the market is, kind of how the line looks like when you have color bar based no slope selected in subgraphs.
