This is what I was thinking. Working with NirvanaTS (I am assuming Sierra is still working with them), they provide the IT aspects; dedicated servers for Sierra customers, cross connects. Sierra runs another server with the special version of Sierra connected to CME. This server then sends data to the Sierra customer servers through cross connect at an improved remote buffer delay. I am not a network engineer but something along these lines might work? I know sub millisecond is HFT territory and is not what I am aiming for, plus there is the issue of how low the Chart Interval Update can be. If we can improve from the current 20ms to sub 5ms, I'd pretty happy with that. |
