I did it by recording a wave file saying "connection lost" another one saying " reconnected", placed them in the data folder, in the alert sounds folder, then went into global settings>>general settings>>alert settings, selected the wave files for alert 1 and alert 2 (or whatever numbers you wish), gave them names in the user defined names box, then went to general settings>>general 2, and picked my two alerts in the server connected and connection lost dropdown menu boxes. You could use any alert sounds you like of course just put them in that folder and they should work.
