When you open the window for "Select Files to Open on Startup" is the chartbook you want to automatically open listed? Or do you have to add it every time? Make sure when you add it that you select OK to close that window. The only other thing is that the Chartbooks you are opening need to be in the "Data" folder. Make sure you do not change the folder that comes up by default when selecting the chartbooks to open. This should work just fine - it has worked for many years without issue.
