In order to have the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" removed when you change symbols, you need to enable the following setting: Chart Settings: Clear Trade and Current Quote Symbol on Symbol Change (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) If you have an entry in the "Trade/Quote Symbol" within the symbol settings, then when changing symbols to that main symbol, the Trade And Current Quote symbol should update to what is in the Symbol Settings. Note that you can use the same placeholders in the Trade/Quote symbol, so you can enter MES?##-CME for example. What you enter will depend on the particular service you are using. Also make sure that the option on the Symbol Settings window for Use Custom Symbol Settings Values is enabled.
