Thank you for explaining that. I will order the package 10. Is there an advantage to waiting until the beginning of April versus starting now? I've read that exchanges will charge for a full month even if there's only one day left.
This is correct. So you do not want to activate any exchanges until April 1st, unless the cost is low enough that it is not an issue for you. I would also like to use the Teton order routing that you mentioned as your web page noted it is the best solution for Sierra Chart users. However, I'm confused as I thought order routing was done through my broker (GFF/Ironbeam). Please forgive my lack of understanding;
Many Futures Clearing Merchants (FCMs) contract out the actually process of order routing. Some do it themselves (such as Interactive Brokers). We created software that does the order routing so FCMs that choose to do so can use our software for order routing (although it only works with Sierra Chart).
