Post From: Flatten button & open positions

So I've searched for tickets on the Flatten button & after reading a few, I have not seen this directly addressed:

When in an open position, w/ Stops & Target orders in place- the Flatten button will first cancel the Stops & Targets, but I have to click it again to exit the position. Almost without fail, the moments where flattening a position is decided upon, by the time the 2nd click to close the actual position is performed, the market is at a new price, significantly away from where I wanted to flatten. Almost without fail- this is never in my favor. Effectually, it's not much different than a delayed response, or 'sluggish'. When I press flatten, to me- it means- "GET OUT NOW!"- where 'now' means NOW.

Just my opinion, but I could be wrong- the first press of the Flatten button is equal to pressing the Cancel button. Is this what is intended? If so, I STRONGLY request either an option to close open positions immediately using the Flatten button, whether there are OCO's or stops & targets as well that are in the book.

Please advise, & Thank you.
