The reason for the timing on the candles is due to your Session Times. You must have your Regular Trading Hours starting at 09:30, which will give you 1 hour candles starting on the half-hour (since that is when the Start Time starts) until your Evening Session, which must start on the hour. In which case (assuming trading occurs 24 hours) you will get a 30 minute candle for the transition from Regular Trading Hours to the Evening Session.
