It depends on what Simulated trading you were doing. If you were using any of the Sierra Chart tools (simulation mode or simulated futures trading), then the process will be exactly the same. If you are referring to simulated trading through your broker (or trading service) then it will be different, as the Simulation service you will need to use will be one of the Sierra Chart options (Simulation Mode or Simulated Futures Trading).
