When I followed the instructions under "Changing the Symbol of a Chart or Trade DOM Through Chart Settings" the message box that is pictured in the Sierra documentation is different from the window displayed in response to "Select Chart >> Chart Settings on the menu." On the window that was displayed by the above command, was titled: Chart Settings | "HG-202212-nymex" ...[*Symbol] The drop down menu presents a prompt to "Enter search text". I entered HG-202212-comex, Apply All. The window disappeared, no response. I entered HG-202212-comex, Enter. The window disappeared, no response. next: When I enter the term - "HG-202212-comex" - while following the instructions under "Quickly Changing the Symbol of a Chart to a New Symbol for which a Data File - Does Not Exist" No bars appeared. No error message was returned. When I enter the term - "HG-202212-comex" - while following the instructions to under "Quickly Changing the Symbol of a Chart to a Symbol for which a Data File - Exists" "Symbol settings not found for current service" was returned. When I enter the term - "HG-202212-nymex" - while following the instructions to under "Quickly Changing the Symbol of a Chart to a Symbol for which a Data File - Exists" No bars appeared. No error message was returned. (On a side note) If I enter "File > Find Symbol" the find symbol window presents Available Symbols as Futures - COMEX, underneath which a column of contracts is displayed that includes: HG-202212-NYMEX | December 2022 |
