There is not a way to Show/Hide a study through Control Bar buttons or keyboard shortcuts. As you have found the way to add a study, the same principle applies to removing it. In that what you need to do is to create a Study Collection that has the other studies you still want on the chart, but not the VWAP (or use the "Clean Chart" study collection, if the VWAP is the only one you are using). Also consider the Show/Hide options, as these are available from the right-click menu and are not that difficult to access.
