No, it does not make sense to us:
It seems as though the main instance and the sub instances were "reset"/blanked out.
Does that make sense with what i described happened ?
We do not know exactly what happened.

Is there a way to retrieve those global settings by any chance ?
Backups are made of these files. Refer to:

I found the Sierra4.config file in my subinstance backups and tried to move it to the data folder for that subinstance.
You do not put this into the Data folder but into the installation folder of Sierra Chart. Instructions:

do I just select Teton (trading) under data services section ?
