Yes the CME does make this difficult. We do not set the rules. We do know that Barchart would at least ask for the name of the broker and they would contact the broker monthly to make sure you have an account. We use a combination of technical verification and also asking for the name of the broker and the account number because that is what our vendor of record wants in order for them to comply with the CME rules. We are the ones who have to handle exchange audits. And we always have to be very thorough with all of the details and be compliant.
