I truly apologise for writing this – I am sure you are getting similar messages. I am confused as I am seeing many messages regarding the final separation of Transact from Sierra Charts and what I need to do. I am using Sierra chart 2276. I understand that I will need to change to the current version. I see the following message dated 22 August from Sierra Chart Engineering: For Transact users we are going to do the following at the beginning of September 2022: 1. If a Sierra Chart user is using the Transact service, then we are going to change your Service Package to 10 or 11 depending upon whether you are using 3 or 5 respectively. There will be no cost for this Service Package change. 2. We will activate the CME Group top of book exchange on your account. Normally there is a free trial for this for the first month. If there is a cost we will cover this cost. The normal fee for this is 3.50USD/month. You will then be using the Denali Exchange Data Feed with no dependency upon Transact data and will have reliable comprehensive market data for Sierra Chart. More information: Denali Exchange Data Feed 3. We will need Transact users to complete the CME market data agreements here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeAgreements You will need to login, if necessary. That can be easily done by selecting Help >> Account Control Panel from within Sierra Chart So all I need to do before 1 September is upgrade my Sierra Chart version AND complete the CME market data agreements. Correct ? then you will automatically switch my data source for live data to your source on 1 Sept. As that is a trading day, do I have to restart Sierra Charts at a certain time to make this change effective? If so, at what time? I am in US Eastern time zone. I am confused by point 3 above regarding CME market data agreements – I don’t understand “you will need to login, if necessary” – how do I know if necessary? Is it part of the CME agreement completion procedure? Is that all I need to do for 1 Sept? I am confused as I saw on another page that I need to subscribe to Teton service after 1 month to keep live data coming into the charts. Do I still need to do this? If so, I have 1 month to subscribe to Stage 5 & fund the account with the minimum to get CME non professional data fees - correct ? After I upgrade my version of Sierra Charts to current version & you switch the account to Denali, all symbols will be automatically converted where necessary in Quote Boards & Charts? Have I missed anything? Thank you immensely for your patience. Regards. |
