My guess is that the resolution of your desktop monitor is different (greater) than the laptop. This would not be a SC issue, as it will happen with all apps. I believe, when SC saves a chartbook, it saves each windows locations. If you your laptop does not have the ability to go to that high of a resolution, then part or even all of a chart will be off your display.
