The account you need to use with Sierra Chart is TransAct_User_if267584. This will not change and does not need to. It is just a name and although it used to mean a specific connection with TransAct, it does not any longer. Your other account is expired and does not have any time or funds in it. If you are only going to use Sierra Chart for charting and not for trading, then that does change things somewhat. You can continue to do this, as long as you get the data for Sierra Chart from us through our Denali Exchange Data feed. The one thing that does come up, however, is that if you are wanting data from the CME Group, then they have a requirement that you have a live, funded, futures trading account to which you can connect your Sierra Chart software at least once a month in order to verify your non-professional status for the exchange fees. Refer to the following for more information: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges Since you may not be able to connect to TransAct to verify your account after September 1, 2022, you will have to have an account at another broker for this purpose. To this end, we recommend the following service: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
