You absolutely cannot do what you are describing here. This is going to cause you corruption issues and problems . You already probably have a corruption issue:

In my 2nd instance of Sierra Chart, I set the path to my original instance of Sierra Chart:
General Settings -> Paths
- Data Files Folder (Action): F:\SierraChart\Data
- Always Use 'Data' Folder Within Main Folder: No

All of your chart data files at this point should be considered corrupt. And you need to re-download the data:

Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart.
