Is it better to do the change on the first day of the new month for billing reasons?
In general, it is best to wait for the first of the month, as you have already paid for the data from CQG for this month. Just make sure you have told your broker to stop the data from CQG at the end of this month. But, it also depends on what exchanges you want, as they may be cheap enough that making the switch now is no big deal (if you just need one CME Group exchange without market depth, the cost is only $1.25). I read on the forum that you guys are not big fan of Windows 10 too so I was thinking to do the huge step to ditch it for Ubuntu: do you have any very basic user guide to do that?
As much as there are issues with Windows, it is the Operating System we for which Sierra Chart is built. We do not directly support Linux.
