There is an easy way to switch data providers in this case, all you need to do is to switch the setting for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support For Sierra Chart Data Feeds. When this is set to Yes, you will get the data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed. When this is set to No, you will get the data from your Trading service (CQG in your case). Refer to the following for this setting: Data/Trade Service Settings: Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Other Settings) Depending on what you want to do, this may not be the best way to do it. Any data that is already in your charts from whichever service you were using will still be there - meaning you would have a mix of historical data, some from Denali and some from CQG. You can work around this by re-downloading all of the data each time you make the switch, but that can be extra time consuming. What we would recommend would be to have two installations of Sierra Chart - both of them can be connected to your trading service, but you would have the data from Denali go to one and the data for CQG go to the other. This way the data from each source is contained. Refer to the following for how to install a second Sierra Chart: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
