We recommend you turn off the option to allow for Symbol changes via keyboard per the following: 3. For this feature to work, you need to have the option Global Settings >> General Settings >> Support Symbol Entry from Chart Window enabled. You may want to disable this option to prevent accidentally modifying the symbol of a chart from inadvertent pressing of keys on the keyboard.
