That is not a valid Interactive Brokers symbol, that is the problem. Make sure you have your chartbooks open and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. This will update your symbols to what is needed for Interactive Brokers. Keep in mind, as long as you open a chart using File >> Find Symbol then the symbol will be what is needed for the service you are connected to.
