A second installation of Sierra Chart is going to be the same CPU-wise as a Second Instance (File >> New Instance). In both cases you have a completely independent Sierra Chart running. The only difference is with regards to data (in the New Instance situation the data is received from the main instance). Also, if you have multiple cores, then you can actually benefit from having multiple Sierra Chart instances.
