Just to share my experience with Interactive Brokers. I am trading MES and using Interactive Brokers for many years, I was thinking to switch to an US broker, but most of them either do not accept Canadian customers or require a much higher capital than US residents, hope they would treat EU customers differently. I am actually very happy with IB, the only reason I considered to switch is that their margin requirements are high. As an EU resident, you can pretty much do everything with IB (Futures, Stocks, Options, CFDs and Forex) I have Denali, I don't need to connect to IB to download historical data (5 days for 1-tick data and unlimited for 1-second data), but for live streaming data, I do have to connect to IB (with IB's API) According to Sierra, IB will never support Teton, which doesn't bother me at all, I trade 1-2 contracts, the executions are always lightening fast anyway. In terms of Sierra's web site, I am actually so grateful that Sierra uses limit resource on improving the Sierra Chart, (which they have been doing a phenomenal job!) than on aesthetic looking of their web site.
