Once the historical data is downloaded, it only needs to be updated when you are disconnected from the data feed (like overnight), so although the initial download may take some time, it would not be that long each time afterwards. We are not sure what you are referring to in terms of "data feed delay". If you are asking about the Chart Update Interval, then we always recommend leaving that at 500 milliseconds for a typical chart. The only time we really suggest lowering the value is when using a Trading DOM and you want to see the market depth information update more frequently.
