What you want to do is mostly possible. One issue is Market Data, as the exchanges will not allow for real-time market data to be accessible through DTC. Another possible issue, is that if you are using DTC to place trades to the same trading account, then you could end up with a mixture of orders. In order words, if you are wanting them to be independent from one another, then you would need to check with your broker about how to do this in terms of accounts, and you would need to ensure that your trading is performed to each account appropriately.
