So ID1 is the Average True Range study? It looks like your main issue is the use of a '1' instead of a '-1'. If you are trying to compare the current bar against the previous bar, then your Alert Condition should be the following: =(ID1.SG1[0])>=((ID1.SG1[-1])*1.6) Then if you want the bar to paint when true and then to not paint any following bars, you need to enable the alert option for Reset Alert Condition on New Bar. The condition you have should reset without this option, but best to enable this as well just to ensure that you do not miss any odd situations.
