You use the term "Sub Instance" at one point, so we want to make sure that you actually have 2 completely separate installations of Sierra Chart, and not that you are using a Sub-Instance (by selecting File >> New Instance). Please let us know. If you do have two different installations, then for each one select Global Settings >> General Settings and ensure that the folder defined for Data Files Folder is the correct "Data" files folder for each installation (in other words, make sure that this is not set to the same folder in both installations of Sierra Chart - they need to be different). The correct format for CQG symbols is F.US.nnn?## where nnn is the symbol, ? is the contract month and ## is the 2 digit year. So for the ES this would be F.US.EPH22. You can always select the option Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service to update the symbols in your chartbook to what they should be for the currently selected service.
