they simply do not show up when I click on the DOM.
So you submit an order through the Trading DOM and then you do not see it there immediately afterwards?

This would mean there must be a rejection and that would be in the Trade >> Trade Service Log. Or there was an order fill immediately. So you need to check the Trade Activity Log to see what the issue is:
