What we are referring to is the Microsoft foundation classes within Sierra Chart. Yes, Sierra Chart still does need to use, the core Windows OS libraries. But the use of those is as minimal as possible. And we would no longer be using the Microsoft API for dialog windows. MFC I understand, but if you do custom windows that could give issues on Wine, then I would have to use the devil's operating system :-( |
