So I made the jump to SC early this week and unfortunately I still can not get reliable data for the charts. It's specifically /ES. And I've done everything I know how to independently but today I'm throwing in the towel. I'm using Rithmic with Denali as a back up and Over the past few days I was getting charts with large chunks of data missing. Specifically in ES around the time of contract roll. From about 09/10 till now there would either be very large gaps on time charts or extremely large bars in tick charts. I searched Youtube, Futures.io, and obviously here. I went through the entire troubleshooting post and yesterday/last night/into today i thought i had it figured out. So, a couple things on my end. MY internal clock for my computer was off by about .5 on average. Ran as admin and it fixed it. Second is I think there's some sort of miscommunication between SC and Rithmic on.. something, i'm not sure where. Again, i've gone through and reversed and gone through all the trouble shooting steps for days now. Today at around 14:00 my ES charts just stopped updating. This was on both NQ and ES. Last night/this morning my work around was literally having to manually, utilizing the 'Delete and download' and 'edit/delete and download', load in either days or weeks at a time. It's almost as if the files or packets or wherever were being stripped off because I was importing too much data at a time. Ok, noted. But now even when trying to download anything it's just getting stuck on "downloading historical data. Bars may not appear until done". And it's not consistent across markets either. As i can go into file - upload intraday chart and then get this: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1633725261523.png That SS also has 'show contract roll' dates. What moved the needle for me last night was actually disabling the disabling the custom symbol settings function in the global symbol settings. I reenabled it again after i started having issues and it sent the message log into a flurry of activity. But now i'm back to square one. And again, the issue currently is i'm stuck on "downloading historical data". I was/am using 'continuous futures contract - data rule rollover, back adjusted' as that's what got me some progress earlier in the week. But, now when I try and reload intraday data the above happens. It seems as if some of the data is getting corrupted coming across from Rithmic. Am I on the right track? I've abstained from playing around in the contract settings in global symbol settings as of yet. But i have a feeling one simple thing there will probably alleviate most of this. I'm pretty depserate for help on this because i want to use SC to trade and i was out almost the entire back half of this week because i was not confident executing trades through the platform, even if it is through a funded trader program. Another note is that i've been having consistent issues with Rithmic and SC talking when it comes to orders as well. With Rithmic refusing to update orders, or even show correct values. That portion is going both ways, as SC is getting out of sync with the actual order flow. Help, please. |
