Were your customizations done at the Chart level or the global level? Also, if you should be using the Global Graphics Settings, then go to the chart(s) for which you are not getting the graphics changes and ensure that the option Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart >> Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings has the check next to it. Do you have the settings for your Global Graphics Settings back after moving the Sierra4.config backup file (go to Global Settings >> Graphics Settings and take a look at a few of the settings that you would have changed to see if they are correct or not).
