We do see an interruption from the CME to our Aurora server from US Eastern time 18:24 to 18:49 CME FIX | Channel 310 | CME Globex Equity Futures CME MDP feed. The cause is unknown. We have not seen this before. So this is very unusual. We have patched the missing data. Since we have the data on another server. We really do not know what has gone wrong. We think what happened affected either the A or B feeds but not both. And on our second server we were using the other feed. So one would be using the A feeds and the other was using the B feeds. Since a single channel went down there was not an automatic detection of this problem and a reconnect to the secondary feed either A or B. There would only be a reconnect to the other set of feeds, if all channels go down which did not happen in this case. Next time, just simply reconnect to the data feed to go to a different server since this only affected some of the servers and not all of them.
