"There is no way we could have known in advance about these FIX connection problems when we added support for FIX." - This statement without proper explanation is not totally acceptable to a software end user.

I understand FIX connection problem lies at OEC side. But, how did Sierra chart pass the FIX connection testing at first place? Just out of curiosity.

Practically, OEC data feed user must use OLD version of Sierra 1077/78 for stable connection. All the continuous bug fixes/improvement or enhancement of Sierra chart are totally irrelevant to us, since we are paying for the old version of software (Note, not 1 or 2 releases, it is multiple versions behind...].

I am not sure if it is even possible, can we drop the FIX connection of OEC? Let us move on with new version of Sierra chart but with old connection method? [ Edit: Sierra dropped the API component, so I guess the answer for my question is a NO. Well, go back to the old version then...]
