The problem is that they are not accessing different data feeds, at least not for CME Group data. For the CME Group data they are both trying to get the data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed. In order to get the Denali data to two different computers at the same time, you would have to pay for two exchange fees. Refer to the information here regarding Connections:

Keep in mind, if you have one computer with two installations of Sierra Chart, then you can get the Denali data into both installations for no additional fees. Therefore, you would be better off just having a separate installation of Sierra Chart on the same machine rather than running one of them in a virtual environment.
