We are not really fully understanding what you are trying to do and how you are doing it. If you are drawing into the Forward Projection Area then what you are saying could make sense. The issue being that the times that are displayed in the Forward Projection Area are from the current date/time. Therefore, if you are drawing on a Friday and go into the Forward Projection Area by only going to the next day, then that would be Saturday, which will not have any trades and therefore will be removed when you look at the chart on Monday. You would have to ensure that you were drawing all the way forward to Monday. You would also have to ensure that you have those forward bars loaded, so you would need to set the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Number of Forward Columns to a large enough number to get where you want to be. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Number of Forward Columns (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Display Items menu) The High/Low for Time Period can be filled, although it can not be shown as a rectangle with left and right edges. Refer to the following: Chart Studies: Filling the Area Between Two Study Subgraphs within Same Study For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
