But if a chart time today is not a real time today then I don't need to see pivots from current real time today on the destination chart.
Chart time today is the same as real time today if the chart is in real time.If the chart is in Replay, then it is no longer tied to real time. The TODAY function is looking at your computer clock, not Sierra Chart. https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SpreadsheetFunctions.html#TODAY_Function How can this be done better?
If you always use the chart in real time, your approach is the best.
