This does not occur, unless the historical data is obtained from the same server that the real-time data is from. In many cases this is a different server. So no connection to the real-time/streaming data feed is necessary.
I don't know about the same server, but for sure SC connects to data feed, if chart is missing latest historical data, so my guess in 3d post was correct. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-08-04 17:58:40
