The one thing we can think of with the trades not showing is that you may not be connected to the same TransAct Connection Type. Keep in mind that this is now set separately within Sierra Chart. Go to File >> Data/Trade Service Settings and ensure that the Connection Type is set the same as your TransAct DOM. With regards to the DOM, the other option is that your Sierra Chart DOM is "attached" to your main window, so when you minimize it, it is stored with the main program and not through the operating system. If this is the case, then you would have a Chart Tab for that Trading DOM. Look to see if you have this situation.
