Actually, I'm glad you brought that up because with Windows 7 just because a program is open doesn't mean it will show up in the system volume mixer. So, I would need to trick my Sierra platform into firing one of my audio alerts and then seize that window of opportunity to hit the mute button when the Sierra icon does show in the mixer... Please, spare me the inhumanity of this kind of Windows design flaw and whip together a Sierra based mute function :-) |
