I am looking to set up my AMP Futures account with Sierra Chart and start trading live directly through the SC platform. I have talked to AMP support and they have informed me that in order to set up my AMP account with SC I must choose their datafeed option of: Sierra Chart-Denali-CQG(No Data- Order Routing Only). According to them, this option should be able to connect my AMP account to SC as well as it does not mean that I would pay for your service through AMP, but that it will simply establish the connection between the two. However, two concerns come to mind with the first being SC’s past issues with CQG data connection. Will choosing this option with AMP present a problem for SC? I do not believe there is an alternate option such as using TT with AMP, so would this service of using CQG still be recommended? The second concern relates to SC’s direct order routing service. Is this SC service absolutely necessary for all users looking to place live orders through the SC platform? I understand that this service uses TT for placing live orders so how would this work, if at all, with an AMP Futures account? In the end, I just want to establish a simple connection between AMP and SC that will allow me to receive real-time data and place live orders through the SC platform. That being said, I would also like to achieve that without inadvertently paying twice for the same data or service. Please advise me on how to do this so that I may choose the correct package and pay promptly.
